Red Funnel and Visit Isle of Wight



Back in late 2021, the Adrift team had the amazing opportunity to work on a joint project with local tourism board 'Visit Isle of Wight' and top ferry provider 'Red Funnel', to create a series of adventure content for Autumn and Winter.


This campaign consisted of both photo and video deliverables to attract an out-of-season audience to travel to the island for a winter break. The Isle of Wight offers an array of outdoor activities and we were given the challenge to capture 7 of them in this shoot.








Over the two day shoot, we were blessed with beautiful light and great models.The activities ranged from mountain biking over the scenic hills of the Island, overlooking the West Wight coast and cliffs, to hiking for sunset to take in the Needles lighthouse landmark.


Of course we had to incorporate some ocean shots, so spent one afternoon paddle-boarding around Freshwater Bay and the caves tucked around the corners of this amazing coastline. To finish off the shoot, we worked with 'Tackt-Isle Adventures' for a kayak trip to some beautiful, secluded beach stretches.





After the two days, we had everything from close-up portraits, wider landscapes, aerials and underwater based shots, which kept us busy for a whole weeks worth of editing. This was a very fulfilling shoot to edit and deliver, we love working with island based companies. The content we produced will be shared and shown all across the island and beyond on different platforms both digital and print.
