We recently had the pleasure of working with Pure Scot, a Scotch whisky brand that's all about embracing the wild, untamed nature of the Scottish countryside. While we didn't shoot in Scotland, we did travel to Ireland to capture Pure Scot's unique vibe and stunning product.
The shoot took place on the Wild Atlantic Way, a breathtaking coastal drive that spans the western coast of Ireland. It was the perfect location to capture Pure Scot's rugged and adventurous spirit. We spent several days shooting both video and photography, to create a bank of imagery for the brands website, taking advantage of the stunning coastal landscapes and wild swimming spots.
One of the unique challenges of this shoot was capturing the whisky bottles in all their glory. We've got loads of experience capturing bottles, but it's always a fun challenge to find new and interesting ways to showcase the product. We took advantage of the dramatic landscape and played with lighting and angles to create images that really showcase the beauty of the bottles.
Of course, it's not just about the bottles - it's also about the process and heritage behind the product.
While our founder, Alice, might not be the biggest whisky fan, she certainly appreciates the craft and history that goes into making such a unique product. Alice found that a quick dram was the perfect post wild swim warm up!
Overall, we had an amazing time working with Pure Scot on this shoot. The brand's commitment to embracing the wildness of nature really resonates with us, and it was a joy to capture that spirit in our visuals. We're proud to have created content that truly represents the brand and appeals to their target audience.
