In 2018, a trip to New Zealand marked the beginning of my freelance career. At the time, I was navigating uncertainty, leading a mundane life in London, unsatisfied with my career choices. I left my job to travel and figure out the next steps. The trip gave me the courage to pursue photography and filmmaking as a career, and it sparked a creative fire that has since taken me around the world. Now, seven years later, I return with a different perspective. My journey as a freelancer has been filled with challenges, growth, and triumphs, but I will never forget the journey....
This film is not simply about revisiting New Zealand, but about reflecting on the creative and personal evolution I’ve experienced with the aim of inspiring others to take the same creative risks.

There and Back Again: The Return to Aotearoa

This is not just a film, it’s a personal milestone and a story of growth. For me, returning to New Zealand is about revisiting the roots of my creative career while acknowledging the journey I’ve taken to arrive here. The honesty of that story, the struggles, the breakthroughs, the light and nature that has carried me forward.
