Mustang Survival - Live Beyond Land
Live Beyond Land is a film about british sailor, Emily Nagel who is endorsed by Mustang Survival. Adrift Visuals had the pleasure of working with Isca Media to shoot all the aerials of the film and to photograph some stills throughout the production. The film was based around Portland in Dorset, where Emily lives.
We started early for a sunrise shoot at Portland Bill Lighthouse, where aerials of Emily cycling, with the surrounding scenery of the lighthouse and coast were shot, with the early morning, golden light. From there, we headed to where Emily spends a lot of her training days, running along the cliff-edges of the tied Isle of Portland, over looking the beach stretch and the coasts of Weymouth.
After the training parts of her day, we headed to the National Sailing Academy of Portland, to capture Emily setting up and getting out on the water. We followed in a chase boat to get nice and close to the action. To finish off the day, we went back to Portland Bill, for a beautiful sunset, where Emily was there to just enjoy and take in the early evening light and coastal goodness.
Along the coast of Portland Bill, there are some amazing rock stacks and eroded structures, which made for some epic viewpoints. Overall, a very good shoot day, with a small but great team, to create an action, adventure based video for a brilliant athlete and person in general.
